Just called my local MB dealership, and a gallon of OEM coolant retails for $24!! Don't know how you could have gotten it for that pice? maybe because it was summer time or something, but being that people usually flush their coolant to prep for winter, $24 I was told makes more sense.

Actually, $12 is a pretty fair price, since NAPA sells Zerex G-05 (the Mercedes OE formula) for about $14 a gallon. Trouble is, who's going to drive, say, 20 miles to save $2 if the NAPA store down the street has the product for a couple dollars more and a lot less hassle?

Turkeybaster, new Fords (and Chryslers, I believe) also use G-05. Maybe someone in your neighborhood has one of those models and would be willing to take it off your hands.

Hi Ron. Basically that location is fine for me to get to. I'm free saturday, and sunday, or tuesday, and thursday evenings. Just suggest a time, and I can call you before I get there, since I have your number. Sorry about the PM.
