I can't use anything you've posted, but props for the excellent posting format! It takes a lot of work to post all those PNs and cross referencing it across chassis.

Thanks.

I basically rebuilt this car from a ready-for-the-scrap-heap hooptie into a very solid and respectable vehicle. I did it with eBay - I never set foot in a wrecking yard in search of parts for this car.

Most frustrating part of sourcing parts from eBay is the lack of sophistication of the average seller, which is where the best deals are to be found. The "store" sellers are aware of what their product is, and most likely, what a reasonable price is (although sometimes I question that part). With individual sellers, rarely do they take the time to post the part #, and many have no idea of what EPC is, or how to use it to cross-reference model application.

Couple that with different names given to the same object, and you've got plenty of room for confusion.

This effort was extreme. I've probably got 20 hours work in picture taking, cropping, uploading to Photobucket, crafting descriptions, checking part #'s and model application, etc. and I haven't made a single dime yet.

Hopefully that will change in the next few days.

Regards

Is there a difference between the front and rear? Are those parts #s you have 100% correct? PART# 140 720 06 16 is for the FRONT door checks?

140 parts needed

My name is Paul. I am not new to B-World but am a single dad and do not get to spend as much time as I would like checking things out. and trying to give people help on their fix-it problems. First off I want to tell you how cool it is for you to take the time to list all the parts. I type with the skill level just above a chisel and apiece of granite. My hat is off to your effort. I am, not sure of your inventory but I have a 94 W140. I am trying to keep the car in the best aesthetic condition possible and rep[lace worn out parts as I can afford to. I am in need of the following (misc.) parts: 1) A mirror control switch. 2) the dome light/sunroof switch console, 3) the rear vanity mirrors door only or complete, ( I will paint match if no palomino) 4) trunk lock mechanism or what is called the "trunk lid IR receiver" 5) the console wood trim, condition unimportant as long as it is no broken so switches will install. I refinish the wood or re laminate it. If you have any of these can you send me a cost with shipping to 98663. I also need a valve body which is complete but needs rebuild. I would appreciate any help you can give me and hope it can be financially beneficial for you as well. Thank sin advance for your assistance. Yours truly, Paul, in the soggy Pacific North West

Don't have the mirror control switch.

I'm pretty sure I have the domelight/sunroof control - I'll check and let you know.

Rear vanity mirrors - have them in grey:

There is some damage to the edge of one of the mirrors. However, I believe transplanting the mirror assembly into another frame is not a big issue.

Don't have the trunk lock assembly you're looking for. I have the key and latch mechanism, but the I/R assembly isn't with it.

I have a serviceable upper console, but not the lower portion.

Installation tabs are intact

Small cracks in finish near climate control opening. No delamination in the cracks.

Scratch in the ashtray cover. This will probably polish out with some polishing compound and patience.

There's a small screw hole where I accidentally perforated the back while attempting to repair the plastic framework.

"Valve body" - are you talking about the transmission valve body? I've got an entire transmission, but not a separate valve body for sale.
