2003 S600 63K miles, Should I buy?

Hello to all members of MB forum. I hope you all doing well and enjoying being MB owners and sharing your knowledge with other members. I need your advice.

I am looking to nuy 2003 MB S600 with 63,200 miles for 25K. The car is in superb shape. delear serviced, still on cpo warranty (4 more months).

I am afraid of high repair bills, should I buy? I am not planning to drive this vehicle a lot - only 5,000 miles a year and I am a middle class man.

No, no, no, no, no, no NO. You almost certainly face incredible repair bills if you keep it long term. A friend of the family dumped their S430 for trade in after the tranny took at dump at less than 75k, and facing a $6,000 repair bill.

If you have 25k to spend and want speed, get something AMG treated. There is a W211 E55 for sale here I believe with less mileage for the same price, and should be cheaper to run. The most practical modern choice would be an E350.
