1984 Euro 500SEC The Blue Bird. I have decided to keep her

A twist of fate and a new lifestyle prompts me to sell The Blue Bird. I need a large Pickup truck to pull my 5th wheel, either to North Carolina or to Oregon for a new job.

So with a tear in my eye and a rather large lump in my throat I offer up my
1984 Euro 500SEC. The Blue Bird

All records since importation in Feb. 1988. A Southern CA car since 1988.

Search Bluebird and Blue Bird to see the threads how I rescued this car from the Crusher.
She has 143,000 miles, Tri-y's, MagnaFlow high flow cat and muffler, custom exhaust. Zender Side Skirts.
She comes with restored 16" Ronal 5 spoke body color coded and polished lip wheels. She rolls on 14" tires and Chrome Bundts today and as sold.

I have been offered a nice 1999 Dodge 1 ton 4X4(used to pull my trailer so they would be reunited, and my 5th wheel hitch will bolt right up because it came out of the same truck a few years back). It'll haul horses and hay as well.

So I must find a good home for Blue Bird.

$5000.00 Cash or trade for like pickup truck of like value above.

Ach, this breaks my heart! This is a fine car, maintained by someone who understands it in detail. I wish I was in a position to buy it!

That breaks everybody`s heart Charlie, but I`m sure one of our members will buy it and give it the attention and detail that you have. But as many of us have releized especially now a days, jobs and financial stability come first, and the toys come second. We just wish it didn`t have to be in that order.Good luck with the sale.

I wish I could buy her and hold her for you until you could re-take possession of her when you're 'back in the black'. Boy these cars really become part of our lives, don't they?

All the best, Charlie. Sorry we missed you last weekend.

Pulling her off the block. I'm Keeping her.

Thanks for alkl the support guys.
I have decided that I will not sell her. She means way to much to me and I'd regret it 5 minutes after she left.
So I will do whatever to hold onto her.

WTB EURO FPR

Looking for Euro Fuel Pump Relay part No. 002 545 3305 for Mercedes 126 V8 420SE; recall some board members getting this FPR's out of euro 126's at the junk yards. Must not have burned circuits (open case and inspect for burned out contacts or marks; if so it's no good).
Thanks. CR.
