16"x8" Rims

hello everyone.

These probably look familiar. I purchased these, but didn't end up needing them for the car I bought.

Just the rims, no tires

Same as before $250

More curious than anything - who made a 16x8 version of those wheels?

You know, I am not sure what model this originally came on. I think that they are definitely too big for certain cars.

I might guess a 500 series car might use these.

I will look on the back, but I was told that they were OEM

Those are the stock wheels that came on the 300SL, 500SL 129 CH 1990-1993. They will work on 107, 126 Ch. but require a 3-5 MM spacer on the front to clear the tie rod, and a 10-20 MM on the rear to make it look right.
They are a great way to keep the stock look, while being able to run a wider tire.

Look at the back and take a picture of the stamping there.
If you are selling wheels, you need to show the ET offset.
Or else it would just like your case : bought the wheels off the R129 and they will not fit the W126 as indicated by 420SELTOM
