What a coincidence! I actually am rebuilding a 722.607 right now and I don't have a vehicle to put it in. I was actually looking for someone who was looking to sell their e320, c320, sprinter, or supercharged jag for cheap the plan was to build the trans for that application and sell the vehicle down the road. Anyway, if you are actually looking for the trans, I am an experience transmission rebuilder located in Madison, WI. This transmission came out of a '98 E320 and it has a brand new conductor plate. The story is the car had 102k miles. Trans went into limp mode due to rpm sensor fault (part of conductor plate). In the process of replacing the plate, customer insisted upon having new fluid put in against mechanic's recommendation (use the old stuff due to age). Trans worked for for about a week, but new fluid was too strong in detergents for the old, brittle piston seals and caused them to get chewed away, internal pressure leaks formed, hence low clutch pack pressure, slippage, ending in what felt like a neutral transmission. Anyway, I would be willing to rebuild this for you at a reasonable price, definitely cheaper than what these transmissions are going for used(which is quite expensive), as long as you provide me with your old core. If you are interested or would like to talk more then feel free to message me back and maybe we could do some business together! Thanks for posting,
