When you post your phone number on a public board on the inter net, then edit it out later, that pre-edit phone number stays in the history of the post.
You have been linked to many, many car ads...most start out like this "Worlds Best" or "Better Than New" and the likes of that. When you were called out here as a dealer, you would not admit it but continued to use typical used car dealer slogans. Shoulda just fessed up but you didn't. Made a bunch of people suspicious which makes people check on the validity of someones claims and who you are dealing with.
When people look at someone that is suspicious or may not be giving correct information about themselves the first thing they do is run the phone number that the person of concern has publicly posted to a link to see if it has been used for other similar situations. Your phone number and the number I saved on my computer from the other post are the same. You can't edit it off of my computer.
People on the board also save information on our private computers just for the above reason (someone changing information after they have been owned for something).
The only reason your ad was linked to the other on the w126 board is because you used the same phone number that is saved where you can not change it.
You also represented yourself as a private seller. You are not. You have both licenses that you need and keep current on them in the State of New York to keep your used car sales status. According to the State records, you do very well for yourself as a licensed used car dealer making an estimated $xx,000 a year selling cars with no other employees in your sole proprietor business that you would need to pay part of that $xx,000 to.
You are a used car dealer, you have not been up front, and you are using this forum for commercial gain (you MUST report EVERY car you sell, whether you say it is you personal car or not which you can not do here) to the state since you are a licsensed used car dealer.
Your best bet is to just move on, enjoy your retirement and enjoy your Mercedes. Or just feel free to join in on the many Mercedes enthusiast topics here....but be upfront.
