I got a good laugh out of your "major car show event award". I googled the event. It came up as a flea market and car show. Sponsored by Wayne Drumlins AACA chapter with a membership roster of 42 people and 85% having american cars...
Bring it to this event and put a for sale sign on it, enter the concours and then you will have a award to brag about at semi-national level Mercedes event.
