OUCH, sorry man.
I don't have any pics of the process, but what I did was...
-I took out the orange bumper lense, sanded off all of the little numbers and letters with like 400grit
-then I went down to like 600grit.
-Duplicolor auto primer (I did like 6 or 7 coats)
-Shot it with spray paint(rustolium silver was closest to MBZ factory paint)..GLOSSblack
-Clear coat(duplicolor again from PepBoys or AutoZone) again 6 or 7 coats
....I caked black RTV heat resistant silicone over the little wedge bulbs so they won't transmit blotchy light through the painted lenses. I put xtra coats of primer and paint to avoid any light transmitting through the lenses but, wanted to be sure.
If you click on the link below you can see the end result, again not an aftermarket bumper, but not a "stock" look either. Did I mention I'm jealous you didn' have to bother with getting all of the lower black trim painted like I did...I can't stand how they put our cars out with that black-plastic lower part on our bumpers & rocker pannels - your car is black though so you're cool right outta the gates =)
