Spoke with the Dayton company today 4/21 and they said all their wheels have the logo stamped both on the inside and outside of the rim at about 6 oclock and 12 oclock with a serial number plus stamped on the hub. He also indicated the 100 spoke rearly need re-tuning but if so it cost about $100 per wheel and must be done at the factory. Resealing is additional. Please check for me to see if these markings exsist before I bid.
Thanks, Jerry - 1977 280SL

I guess these are not daytons, since there is no stamping. I will modify my ad. The 5x112 hub adapters are, which seem to be pretty expensive, so it may be worth it just for those, and you can buy the real daytons seperately. The ones I have do not look cheaply made at all, though.

Sorry for the confusion, it was unintentional.

I am very interested in the wheels for my 280SL. If it is possible, I would like to speak with you about them. If you will e-mail me your telephone number and when you are available, I will keep it short.

Thanks, Jerry -

Are these sold yet, and what size rim are they?

Also where do you get tires with the white wall, like that first pick?

Those are low profile Z rated 50 series 15" BF Goodrich Euro T/A's whitewalls that were an extremely limited run. They are no longer made to my knowledge.
