I have a 1990 300E that shows to have 89000 miles on it. The odometer does not work but the Speedometer does. I boutght this car in November and it runs great. It has the normal problems associated with this model. The back windows do not roll down. There is some kind of issue with the A/C fan. I can tell the A/C is on when on the hwy but it does not seem to blow when not moving. Body is pretty perfect and it will be a classic next year. New battery. I will have a photo up soon.
Comes with 1987 Mercedes 300E. I had a lot of work done to this car last year right after I bought it. Gas tank refurbished and a new fuel pump. New serp belt, new right rear tire, new OEM distributor, plugs and wires. This car runs great but still has some kind of a fuel issue. Most parts will go right into the 1990. Body is in great shape no damage. It is a 1987 300E gas; it is a straight six cylinder. When I bought it I did not know that it had sat for a while. I took it to a mechanic and they pulled the gas tank, cleaned it and treated it. This car has two fuel pumps and they replaced one. It has 137000 miles on the engine. I am confident these are the actual miles. It shifts properly and runs fine. The shocks need to be replaced. It has no radio and the blower does not always work. The rotor, plugs and wires are all new as is the main belt. I also have had the transmission hose in the front replaced. (The belt came apart and cut the hose) The RT rear tire is brand new. The two front tires are pretty new. The sunroof no longer opens all the way but it does pop up in the back. I don't have time to work on it. It has some kind of a gas pressure issue. It leaks out of the front if the tank is too full and the gas cap is all the way tightened. It needs a muffler. (I was on my way to the muffler shop when I saw the one I just bought and figured that the parts were interchangeable.
