Looking for fully loaded R500 or R63
I've been spending too many sleepless nights scouring the web for a fully loaded R500 or an R63 and found one of each, but one is a fast talking dealer I don't trust and the other looks to be a scam on eBay, but I bid anyways (reserve not met yet as I want to see if they try to send me messages).
The 2006 R500 w/ every single option on the option list I found is going for $33k after dealer "doc" fees. The body looks to be all original, but there is some touchup paint on the rear left quarter (looks like they brushed up against branches... no dents, just a lot of scratches that were touched up). It has only 16k miles which is great, but this guy was a little sketchy. His "online" price was $30,900, which he quickly said was a typo and "those people misheard" him and he was going to have it changed tomorrow (I'll check up on this). Then he raised it to $31,900, then he said he charges a $995 dealer doc fee (freaking ridiculously high), PLUS all the other regular fees from the state. I say that because @ $995, you would think SOME of that went to the registration or state documentation. This is a decent price, but the way the guy changed the price just makes me feel uncomfy inside. The shoddy touchup job also makes me hesitant.
So after all that, I'm still looking for a FULLY loaded R500 or an R63. This means it has the Xenon lights w/ active cornering fog lights (easy to tell if it has it), Airmatic suspension, power liftgate, parktronic, pano roof, comfort and premium package, 3 zone A/C controls, etc. The only option I actually don't prefer is the Design II rims since it comes with the Conties. I prefer the Michelins, but can always buy them afterwards.
If anyone has a lead (preferably near NY/NJ) anywhere at a great price, please let me know. If you work for a dealer and can get those special deals on lease turn ins or trade ins, PLEASE let me know. I will be considerate of the time spent on helping me out. Thanks.
EDIT: Also, if you have such a vehicle and plan on trading it in soon, PLEASE let me have a chance at it before the dealer steals it from you then marks it up for the rest of us. I have cash available to make the purchase...
