245 XXX miles Silver with gray interior.
This is one of those legendary Mercedes diesels, that were never sold new in California. I privately imported it from Texas for my wife to save the money on driving her AMG Mercedes.
I am selling it only because now I could afford newer model of the exact car
The car has lot of miles on it, but those diesel are famous for going for 1/2 million miles easily, while Greek cabbie put 2.4 million miles on the older model before retiring it to museum in running condition.
The car generated a number of dings and scratches (touched up), but those are all small things and hard to see unless you are close.
The car is non-turbo diesel and 36 mpg rated. Under my heavy foot it gets 27 mpg on the freeway. Still much better than 20 mpg I used to get on my gasoline E320 model, that takes Premium.
Interior still looks good. No tears on the seats, couple small cracks on the dashboard.
I personally replaced filters, drilled rotors, all brake pads, injector tips, flex disk, motor mounts, several leaky fuel lanes. The car presently is drip-free with only power steering sweating occasionally. Radio volume control is "touchy" . Door remote is intermediate but central locking works perfect. Will perform oil change for new owner while he waits. With vacuum extractor and top-mounted oil filter it is like 4 minutes job. I have 8 wheels for the car. The tires on chrome wheels are about 3/16" what is about 30% thread remaining. The other 4 silver wheels have tires "still legal". I am in San Francisco area, but occasionally am driving to San Diego, so if anybody is interested in seeing the car on this route, we can arrange it.
