Looking for some Help. Scammer needs to get tracked down.

I have a Make model and Licence plate of a car that is owned by someone who scammed my sister out of close to 2000 dollars...

I am not going to go crazy over the whole situation I would just like to know where he lives so she can get the money back.

I saw a whole huge forum bust a few weeks back about some scammer bastard on our forums who they tracked down due to his plate number so I hope the same people can help...

If you know anyone in the NYPD or anything who would be willing to help out it would be great too..

*** I do not plan on doing anything crazy, but having someone formally confronted with an attorny will get the money back faster then having the police try to bullshit through and investigation for 5 months and then the piece of shit moves. *** This is not NOT going to turn into street justice so please no volunteers for help murdering the person, its not nessesary

2005, C240 4-Matic: Rennen RC2 19's in black with polished lip and rivits Staggered (235/35/8.5 Front 265/30/9.5 rear) with General Exclaim UHP Rubbers -- HID black housing Projectors at 8000k -- Clear side markers --- Flat Brabus Hood badge -- CL Grill all black --- Tints 15% all the way around -- Brabus Door Pins/surrounds

Hire a private investigator and he/she should be able to track the person down in no time if you have the plate info.

Why don't you just file a formal report/complaint w/ the local PD?

Don't believe everything you think

because as lovely as the police are, they don't auctually care all that much when its not something thats guna make the paper. no but in all seriousness this is something that would take hours dragged out in court and so on and so forth, they would much rather sit on the northner state pkway and wait for me to cruise by at 3mph over the limit so they can ticket me...

The PD thing IS the way to go if we had time to burn but I would rather just sort it out with out a 3 year court case.

I am not going to shoot anyone. Yet haha no seriously though. I just would like to find out where he lives so that I can speak with him, and settle the situation. I am a very down to earth and calm individual I just want this settled.

What happened to all the folks who helped that guy track down the wheel cheater... they figured out his house his work his everything. I don't want a whole ambush on the guy, but a little help finding him would be very much appreaciated.

I may have missed something but....
- Is it on this forum that the scam took place? If so , have you listed this member's name, ? I think other members need to know who he is so at least they would not consider doing business with him, and maybe help more...
- If it wasnt through this forum, then what forum?
- What was the exact scam? There was a guy recently selling tuner or AMG wheels, then supposedly using DHL , then blaming on DHL loosing the " supposedly " shipped goods....I hope it is not the same guy!
- You must have his real name, if so , I am not an attorney, but I dont think there is anything wrong with listing it. Something not quite the same happened recently on the other forum ( MB ) and it was finally resolved peacefully on the forum.
I think asking for member's help makes total sense but more info need to be given ( maybe it is there and I didnt see it ) . You may find other members who have been scammed by your guy also. Scammers are two kinds I figured...stupid ones that leave themselves wide open , smarter ones ( like what happened to me ) who do this on regular basis and have tons of people looking for them. Stupidly I sold my Rolex to a " Collector " in Canada ( $3.5K ), who paid with a Forged bank draft, it took three months for my bank to realize it was fake! Tons of people after him, we know where he lives, plate # etc. and I still dont think we ll ever see that money!
At any rate, be safe, and best of luck. Do check with Internet Fraud Gov. Agencies, Mail Fraud units, in addition to the police. At best , you ll get your money, at worst, you ll stick the guy with a felony charge on his record.
Again, best of luck.
Max

This was not Online this was simply in my area where I live, it was a real estate transaction, I simply reached out here because I remember seeing that post go on for ages about how those guys were able to track someone down due to having his plate and IP and so on. Well I wont have an IP adress but I was more looking for anyone who has info on how to turn a plate number into an adress...

If no one can help thats fine. Just figured some of you guys might have more knowladge about it then I.
