WTB: 300d transmission tail end

Help. Anyone with a broken 300D tranny ? I dont need the whole tranny - all i need is the tail end so i can connect my speedometer cable. If possible from a 82-83 turbo diesel w123.

reason? I bought a used 1983 300cd turbo and discovered that it has a swapped tranny from a 380SEL w126 (electric speedo) 722.300. yes, im trying to fix my speedometer problem.

If they are still on the car - you need to

1) disconnect the main propeller shaft
2) support the transmission with a jack
3) remove the rear tranny support
4) remove the tail end of the transmission.

But I was kinda hoping someone with a busted tranny just laying around.

I started this thread with picture. I just want to get my speedo to work again.

yes mines busted and laying on my garage floor. valve body was bad so I swapped in a manual. where are you located? I am in north tampa. doesnt look to hard to ship. its worth $25 as a core at the PNP so if you think $40 shipped is fair ill snap a picture and then remove it for you if you like the picture. sound OK?
