Guys, in a strange and somewhat unfortunate turn of events I've decided to sell my 190. It's probably a very weird thing to read since I just got it a few months ago. I came to a point where I have to either sell my race car or the Merc. I have so much time into my race car that I just can't bear to part with it.
This 16v has been the single best daily driver I've ever had. It's a hell of a car and I've owned a lot of different cars including a Calloway turbo 320i, E30m3, E36, Galant VR4, Evo, WRX, etc.. This one is the most interesting or them all. I've found that the 190e has new things to show the driver every day, insane grip and torque for a 4 cylinder.
The body on this car is immaculate. The seats have no rips, the carpets are super clean. The wood on the center panel is peeling just a tiny bit from the corner. The lap timer works but it's a little cloudy. It could use a new passenger front door panel but that's really it.
The power seats work, the SLS works. I just installed new OEM ball joints in the control arms. I welded reinforcements on the front subframe for the 300e front sway bar.
It has all new fluids, Motul throughout. Fresh brake bleed, new spark plugs, Evo 1 wheels with Falken Azenis 615 215/40/16 tires (2 months old) The engine is stout, no smoke and good power.
I also built a custom 2.5 inch stainless exhaust with a 2.5 inch metal racing catalyst like we use on the rally cars. I built a short shifter for it which is in the car. It has new shift bushings and finally, a suede Sparco steering wheel.
I'm asking 7k for the car.
The car is in Massachusetts. I will split shipping anywhere within the USA with any buyer.
