Here's the God's honest deal. I just got rid of my 2007 C230 Sport in exchange for a Chrysler 300C Hemi cause I couldn't take how slow the C230 was. With that said, when I first bought the Benz I almost returned it cause I absolutely could not stand the throttle lag on this car. You stomp on the gas, wait 3 seconds and she takes off like it was starting out in second gear.
After viewing posts here, I dropped $325 and bought myself the Booster. Honestly, it absolutely 100% made a difference and I am not a kid looking for a bolt on goodie...38 year old with wife, kids, own my own business and I've had my share of really fast cars in my life.
Pre-Sprint Booster, the car was going back to the dealer. I couldn't take it. After the booster, you step on the gas and she jolts forward.
Have you ever started a stick shift car while it was in gear on accident and you get that big lunge forward? It was like that but it continued through. It didn't necessarily make it any faster, just very responsive, almost torquey-feeling although I know it does not actually add any torque.
It worked well enough to allow me to keep and drive the car for over a year but as it goes, I wanted more juice still so I got the Hemi 300C.
It does what it says it does and that's an honest opinion. It made the car actually too aggressive for my wife to drive. She was not comfortable with it and when I took the Booster out right before I sold the Benz, she could not believe how slow the car was in comparison and she doesn't know squat about cars.
