WTB: W126 Hood / FS: M117 from '73 4.5 108 in PA

Hello,

I am looking for a clean hood for a W126. Steel would be my first choice, but would consider aluminum (if you have the springs or it's a really good deal). Dark blue (904 - Midnight) would be a bonus. I know shipping hoods is a little more trouble than small parts, so it would be handy if you are close to Bucks County PA.

I have a pile of W108 parts including a complete driveline from a '73 280SEL 4.5. (I think it was an SEL, not an SE - driveshaft is different) The motor ran and the transmission shifted when it was removed from the rusty car it was in. I only drove it a couple blocks from the trailer to it's final resting place so I can't give you any very good details. The rear differential and front subframe are sitting with it as well as at least one parts car's worth of mechanical and trim parts including things like AC parts and window regulators. It has been several years since I even looked through this stuff and I am looking to just sell the whole lot and not piece it out. I don't really have time to crate it up for shipping and honestly I don't think that it would be worth the expense.

An ideal world: Someone local has a nice 904 blue W126 hood sitting around who would trade it for an M117 motor and some W108 parts. I would even throw in a case of Yuengling!

Thanks,

Colin Miller
