For Sale: New ordered C300 Sport

Hi,

I ordered a C300 Sport beginning of August 07 and will receive it in about 2 weeks (mid/end of October 07).
I ordered it because I love ... and I still do.
But, now it turned out that I can not keep the car.
It's not that I can't afford it but it has to do with my new job and the customers I am dealing with.

Because the car has some opitons (18" AMG, Leather) that are not so easy to get without two months, there might be a chance somebody is interested.

Here the car that I ordered:

C-Class C300 Sport
  • Obsidian Black
  • Black Leather
  • AMG-designed Body Styling
  • Sport Suspension Sportline Package
  • 7-Speed Automatic Transmission
  • 18" AMG 5 Twin-Spoke Aluminum-Alloy

MSRP: $36,675.00
Selling Price: $35,475.00 + dealer processing fee ($290).

That's how the ordered car will look like:

Let me know, if somebody is interested.

Hi bayhas, hi E55Bit,

Honestly, what would you do in this situation as described above ?
The situation I described is the truth.

If I do not sell the car within the next two weeks the car will stay at the dealership and I will loose the deposit.

On the other hand if somebody is exactly looking for this car, he or she might get it fast and maybe even cheaper.

I don't want to make any money with this car.
Just loosing as little as possible.

If the buyer wants, the car could also be bought directly from the dealership.
In this case the buyer would be the first owner.
Everthing I arranged (discount) will be transfered to to his/her name.

And by the way:
What's wrong posting this situation in a Mercedes-For sale ...-Forum if the post counter is only one ?

Regards,
maexi

You do realize that you can just get your deposit back, right? Its not like the dealer will have trouble selling that car.

What? I have worked in dealerships in Florida, as well as PA, and have never heard of an unrefundable deposit. I'm sure if you spoke to the GM and raised enough hell, you would get your money back. It's not worth it to them to keep your money like that without you receiving the product. I would talk to them.
