For Sale

My 2003 ML 350 Inspiration Edition is now for sale @ $24,500 obo. Mileage is 25,500. Main reason for selling (prior to this farce) is I have not used it much. MB Roof Rack is included. This is a fast post as my 2 yr NYS registration has to be renewed this week. More details by e-mail to those interested. I live in the Utica NY area and transportation of the ML can be worked out.
Towing to the dealer in Syracuse NY,50 miles, cost $200. Dealer is replacing the Ignition Lock Cylinder & Ignition switch for $1264. Refer to W164 forum.

Hey Joey2Times, Thanks for the laughs. My daughter expressed a similar opinion altho not in such harsh language. You didn't say how long ago you were in Utica but Utica has changed. We now have more than 2 malls, we even have a Barnes & Noble (yeah, we can read). You also have to be here in the summertime. That's when the Benzo's come out including some of the SLK & S models. During the winter with our salty streets the Benzo's stay in their garages. I will be helping make your opinion accurate in that as soon as I sell my ML-350 there'll be one less Benzo here. Maybe you can use it in NYC to fight off the taxis.
NYC is my hometown. BTW what does your user name, Joey2Times signify?

Utica is a Subaru town in the winter, they must keep those Benzos under lock down for most of the year

Good luck on the sale!!!

I just left in feb'ish time frame lets see...

2002-2006 untill a little into 2007 was when I was there...

yes varrik street is good times in the summer but still you see alot more locals with lex or bm then the three point star...

whats your daughters name ? haha No I dont mean it like that just wondering if I may know them if they went to utica...

As for the name its a rather long story involving some crazy times with the rest of the Alpha Phi Delta crew

I miss college hahah

Oh and I have a 2002 M430 now but its killing me on gas so I just took
over a 2005 C240 with about 1/10th the miles and 10times better gas mileage

not sure what I am guna do with the truck now might keep it for winter (though its no where near as bad as utica winters) or might decide the 4matic is good enough in the snow

I just realized why there are more Lexus's,etc. in Utica than MB's. Those owners had/have more sense than me and the other poor slobs who bought MB's. None of my kids went to Utica schools, they also had more sense. My son couldn't wait to get out of town and my nephew had to leave in early November, "before the first snowflake came down."
Anyway, did you get a decent education here?

yea, they have a strong CRJ program... prob the only reason I stuck around... I did get the shaft from Syracuse however (why I ended up in utica) at the time Utica was a Sat campus for cuse. I was early app to cuse and was expected to start on the wrestling team freshmen year with nearly a full ride for it however mid summer before starting they passed a budget cut that left the wrestling team on the cuttin room floor so to speak so I lost everything (having been early app early acceptance this hurt very much as i didnt bother with nearly any other schools) they gave me the option due to my grades (my sat and wrestling is what got me in) which sucked to do the year at a sat campus and transfer in to main campus but at the end of my first semister at utica, The college decided to go independant... double fucking whammy... and I ended up gettin really involved with the CRJ program and met some good friends so I guess it wasnt all that bad...

What school did your kids go to ? Proctor or New Hartford (more likely with a benz heh) maybe Notradame highschool ?? I know a bunch of Uticans who didnt go to UC

Smile FS 2003 ML350 Inspiration Edition

New Price: $23,500. I'm about to place an ad on Auto Trader but I still prefer to deal with knowledgeable MB people. The price includes a MB roof rack. Take advantage of an opportunity. I am a motivated seller who is willing to sell my ML 350 at a fair price. I prefer selling the ML to a person who knows MB's as I do not want to spend the time & energy to educate someone about MB's. This ML is Brilliant Silver, it gleams, with charcoal interior enhanced by the Inspiration Edition white stitching. The exterior of the Inspiration Edition is distinguished from the standard ML350 by the same silver and chrome front grill found on the ML55 AMG, and by the ML500 wheels and tires. This ML is clean,we're non-smokers, inside & out. Service has been by the book, all service records are available. Flex Service B was done on Nov 17 2006 at 20,853 miles.
This Inspiration Edition, of which I understand only 900 were produced has the new (and now standard) 3.7 liter V6 with 232 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque, comes with the ML500 wheels and tires (8.5" x 17" wheels with 275/55R17 109V tires) and the ML55 AMG upgraded leather interior. This ML350 pulls strongly, runs flat in corners with very little body roll and no plowing, and the rear end slips around in complete control. For example we drove this ML on a winding, hilly mountain road at night during a heavy thunderstorm. We felt safe & comfortable, almost as if we were cruising on a turnpike. As for cruising on a turnpike, the ML is a dream. Set the cruise control and relax. (Why am I selling this beauty?)
This ML will need new tires. You can get replacement tires at Tire Rack that are superior to the cheap Dunlop's supplied by MB. I did that with my 1999 ML 320. There is a paint blister near the bottom of the driver's side door. The MB body shop will give me an estimate for repair and I'll give the info to those interested. There's also scuff marks on the rear bumper which should come out with some cleaning & waxing.
So, if you want a MB SUV or you know someone who has been drooling over yours take advantage of this motivated seller. I don't want to place ads with the online services & have to deal with their convoluted rules. I just want to sell this ML 350 at a price that's fair to me and the buyer. I think a fair price is $23,500. This ML would be a CPO ML at a MB dealer with a price greater than $26,000. If you feel there is a price that is fairer, make an offer. I'm very motivated.
