FS: 500 SEC in AZ

Hi All,
Circumstances have it that I need to sell my Benz. I have been working on this car for over a year.

It’s a 1985 500 SEC. A friend of mine who is a Mercedes Master Tec has done all the work to this point. It’s anthracite gray, has 18” AMG style wheels, 8” on front with 245/40 and 8.5” on rear with 275/35. AMG body kit with spoiler, Aluminum hood and trunk decks. We did a 5.6L Euro motor conversion (300hp), I’m told the engine has 89,000 mi but cannot testify to it but I had him put in a new timing chain. The trans has the first gear start mod and shifts very smooth. I had new 2.25” exhaust run all the way back with NO, cats into an AMG muffler. The ODO shows 200,000+ but it is not the original dash for this car, we changed it because the original was faded and some of the gauges didn’t work. I don’t remember the original mileage but it was approx 150,000ish. There are some issues left to fix. The seat switches need to be replaced, each one has a function that does not work. However, he checked the seats and all functions do work. When the car sits for several days, one of the lifters bleeds down but pumps back up quickly after starting. When you put the car in park it sometimes does not engage the safety switch and you have to wiggle the shifter to get it to start. However, I have all the pieces required to fix this problem. There are some small dings above the bumper below the driver side tail light. This car is not all original and is not perfect but sure runs and rides nice. The stereo is kenwood with infinity speekers. More Pic's and info on request

I would like to get $6,500 but the buyer must take care of shipping costs. The car is in Southern Arizona.

I also have the original 5.0L engine that can be repaired, complete rear frame with a differential attached, The cargo boxes that go in the rear deck with the first aid kit, extra console wood that needs some work and the fender trim. all this goes with the car.
