looking more for a trade... if i was to sell... hoestly i would spend a little bit of money, clean it up a little and put it on ebay hoping to get $6 or 7k... its not worth that without fixing a few things here and there, getting it registered/smogged, ect, ect.. its just not a "marketable"car as it sits.. dont get me wrong, its still a great car, but without fixing the little dents, replacing the cluster so that the odo works, replacing the cat and getting it smogged, it just not a $7k car, its more like a $4k car.. and i dont want to go looking for a $4k replacent car, cuz i dont think i can find a nicer/cooler/cleaner car for that kind of money.
for reference, i emailed an owner of a 1993 or 1992? e320 that looked super clean and had 19" carllsons... thats the type of car i am looking for.. i am open to just about everything.. lately i have been thinking that i would rather have another mgb... im such a squirrel when it comes to cars, i have owned duplicate cars so many times... i sell them, get something else, sell that and go buy the same car i had previously... this is my second 16v, i had 2 m3's prior to that, 2 mgb's, a ton of other 3 and 5 series BMW's, and a rx7 TT of which i love to get back into. i also emailed someone on CL.org that had a 88 m5 for sale, sorta ratty actually, but i have a fondness for the old M cars.. so i am open to just about anything that is sporty and or unique.. no trucks.suvs' unless its a mid 90's land cruiser... if its a bimmer its gotta be stick, if its a mb its would prefferable be a v8 auto, the exception being a 124 sedan or coupe... no old s class's, had more than my share of them... i like the oldies too, datsan 240's, early 70's 911's, bmw 3.0's and bavarias, preference being either british or german sport sedans/coupes/convertables.. wouldnt mind a series 3 xj6 or an xjs 6 or 12 cylinder.. like i said, im open to anything nice, clean, sporty and unique..... its a good thing i am in socal, there is plenty of what i like out here.
