mm i get ~13mpg (~10.82mpg US) on most runs at <56mph (2600rpm) sometimes its as low as 8mpg (~6.66mpg US) (loaded trailer) or as high as 15mpg (~12.49mpg US) ~45mph (~2000rpm)

(1 US gallon = 3.7854118 liters, 1 Imperial UK gallon = 4.54609188 liters)
or + - ~16.7326%

Always good to have those 8 decimal places of accuracy there, b101uk. By my reckoning, that is sufficient accuracy to account for less than one drop of fuel in 1,000 gallons.

true, but is that ~983.2673gal UK, 1000gal US/UK or ~1167.326gal US? as 0.00000001L will be the same even if its 0.25gal (us/uk) or 10000gal (us/uk)

Ah, you got me there.

Or maybe US drops are a bit smaller than UK drops?

I know they serve us tiny little elf-pints of training beer over here, compared to a proper pint of something decent you get over there.

Havik,
here, let me push my training pint off to the side a bit.....Nice looking DOKA ! You
have been busy and it shows.

I'm biased, but for my use, the high-roof, 3250mm wheel base DOKA is the UNIMOG of choice. Lots of cab room, and enough bed space for a few crates of 750 ml brown bottles of PILS, ....but not TOO big. Yeah, just a few of those .16497694 Imperial
gallon bottles can be a nice end to a day of UNIMOG driving.

Anyway congratulations, it is looking good. Where are you located ?

Havik,
Did you know about David Dunn and his replacement glass ? He has had all the pieces
replicated in a Solar-Shield glass(or something), it is DOT approved, lightly tinted, and really cuts down on the heat that the big greenhouse can generate...of course up there,
maybe solar heating of UNIMOG cabs is a good thing.

I can get you his E-mail, or he is on here somewhere.

John
I can't believe that no one hasn't goobled up your Doka yet. I'd consider buying it if it wasn't that no one is willing to be seen in public with me. so the shotgun seat is plenty of room for my ARB fridge

I don't know if Richard had posted anything about his experience with the tinted glass here, on BW, but here's a pic of my 1300.

Gotta get your truck sold so we can pimp your new ride!
