1993 Mercedes 300 TE Wagon: MB Tex Interior & Garage Kept
This is a jet black with grey MB-Tex interior 1993 300TE Wagon. It has 170k original miles and has been diligently maintained at a MB Specialist.
The 300TE has been garage kept for it's entire life and has been tinted and re-tinted during the last fourteen years. As a result, it doesn't have any of the usual cracks on the dashboard that come with age and the interior is in virtually showroom condition. Everyone who has stepped inside this vehicle has been wowed by how clean and well kept it has been.
It is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition as well. Everything works, including ice-cold A/C, seat belt presenters, sunroof, and all vacuum and electrics. Engine and trans are VERY strong (trans replaced only 20k miles ago) and it will comfortably seat seven.
Wood, glass, chrome, leather, carpets, headliner all in excellent condition. No restuffing, re-dyeing, etc was ever done and is not needed. Seat padding is firm like new.
Asking price is $4,900, but I can do better for a Benzworld member. The car drives and looks like new....tight, fast, and is ready for a new owner. Preferably one who has already owned a W124 wagon. I recently had the brakes replaced front and rear (the wear level had been 20% front, 30% rear) and that was the only thing the MB specialist could find. As I mentioned, it's been well kept.
I sold a "sister" car to this one last year, identical except it being a 1989 model and having 174K miles for $3900. The fellow who bought it actually stopped halfway through the test drive and went straight to the bank. This one is in even nicer condition and is four years younger.
If you want a nearly perfect 300 TE Wagon, this is the one.
