WANTED: Some Glass for w111 coupe

Hello Fellows, If anybody has a front windshield and rear side glass from a w111 coupe that wants to give away, I will be more than happy to take them

I actually need the chrome frames from the rear side windows. What are the chances of getting somethink like that for free, right? Bu't thought I'd try.

I'll trade you. Care to visit a pick and pull and get me a part for my suburban and a couple of parts for a mercedes? It should cost you about 30$ for the parts and at best a half hour of time.

I have a complete 1964 220se/c that should be able to provide the side glass/chrome parts you need. The windshield is a bit to much to ship to CA from NY.

From an 80-something suburban, I need one of the two metal strips that bolts the back tailgate glass to the window lifter assembly and the bolts that hold it down. A yard might charge a whole 3$ for it. But nobody here in NY keeps parts from suburbans around.

From a either a 2.6 or 3.0 liter late 80s mercedes, I need an OVP relay and the hall effect sensor. The other electrical items from the firewall would be helpful too, as I have a problem with the car stalling that is best remedied by exchanging parts until the fault is isolated.

Drop me an email if you're interested. If you can include a photo of what you're looking for, it would help.

Thx - CTH

Thumbs up

What's a OVP relay? and what is a hall effect sensor? What other parts do you need? Where in NY are you maybe I can have my brother pick up the windshield next time he's in NY. Can you take pics of the car from 4 corners? Maybe there is more stuff you can help me get from it. I would not expect you to give them for free either.

I'll call couple of yards tomorrow, if they have the stuff you need I'll have them ship it to you.

Any dead 300e or 260e or 190e 2.6 at a pick and pull should provide what I need.

I'll post pictures at www dot 111lakeside dot com shortly. Look for a link that says "I need these...". -CTH

There is a guy who's parting out a W211 280SE coupe with a lot of parts. You can find him on the Portland craiglist. If you don't find it send me a PM and I'll send you the link.
