It's a nice one folks. It's a Euro spec but fully federalized in 1978 with 89K original miles on the chassis and 80K on the motor. Hardtop and Softop both in excellent condition.
I acquired it from a local Doctor here in Salt Lake City Utah who's father was the original owner who brought it over. Originally it was a 280SL but the Doc wanted more. He had a factory brand new 5.0L US spec put in in 1981. While he was at it he has heated seats installed and ABS.
Everything works perfectly on this car, including the P.windows, later model Becker 1492 radio, heated seats, cruise control, a/c, everything!
The original dash is flawless. Leather is original (not MB-Tex). Carpets are clean. Paint and chrome are exquisite. Two tiny rust bubbles above rf headlights (see note in gallery pix). No rust underneath or anywhere else.
This is the fastest 107 I've ever owned or driven. It's a rocket with 240 horses. The transmission shifts flawlessly. Engine idles smooth and never overheats. Oil pressure is excellent.
I just took these pics today, it took me all day in fact but I had fun doing it.
It has a 100% clear Utah title, lots of paperwork, and it just passed our state's emission/inspection two weeks ago with flying colors.
Does not leak even a single drop of any fluid.
Non-smoking owners. Engine does not smoke either.
This is a really unique car.
