I have a pair of brand new OEM Bi-Xenon W203 Coupe headlights for sale. These WILL NOT fit the sedan. These are manufactured by Hella which for those who dont know is the company that manufactures all the Bi-Xenon headlights installed at the Mercedes factory. I was sent these from a friend in Germany who thought he was sending me a pair for my sedan. I went to install them and low and behold they are for the Coupe. I guess thats good for someone other than me because as we all know these are hard to find. They have never been used and I still have the boxes they were packed in at Hella before my German MBZ buddy shipped them to me. Paid 1500.00, looking for 1300.00: the cost of a pair of Bi-Xenon that will fit my car.
I only say the following because I know someone will ask:
1. Yes this includes all the components needed to go from Halogen to Bi-Xenon. Everything (including the ballast) in contained in and on the housing.
2. No, the auto-leveling feature does not work without more extensive installation. This only works on cars that have factory installed Bi-Xenons. If you are lucky enough to find the motors and have the patience to install the sway bar sensors and run all the wiring hrough the car, then yes the auto leveling will work. BTW: Auto Leveling is only there because its required by law so you dont shine your bright lights at incoming traffic. This would be if your towing something heavy and your front end of your car ends up pointing higher than normal. Other than that the auto-leveling is useless. IMHO
3. Yes this is "Plug and Play". No rewireing needed. Just unplug the old and plug in the new.
4. For some year cars you WILL NEED to have someone (a dealer or shop) change your settings on your computer to "xenon=present" This takes less than ten minutes.
Any other questions, please ask.
Im in the Los Angeles area.
Thanks MBZ folks.
