(PRICE REDUCED) FS: UNIMOG 404 hard cab and VLF box

*****
After talking to Alex at EE, he suggested I lower to $1500 for the cab and $1000 for the box. But as we are champing at the bit to start my Doka build, I really want to offload these items, so please make me any reasonable offer (i.e. I'd accept even less than that if it's a fair and serious offer). Thanks!

*****

I have a rare German hard cab (with the roof hatch!) and rear VLF box from a 1963 404.115 UNIMOG. I am making this a trail truck, so I'd prefer these items go to a good home rather than get destroyed on the trail. Previous owner was in the middle of a frame-off restoration and returning the truck to its original-issue khaki, hence the two tone color scheme. Some rust needs to be cut out on the box. Please email me for more details and pics, dclee3@gmail.com. Asking $2300 for the cab, $1500 for the box or any fair offer. You'd have to come pick them up or arrange shipping from Northern California.

Thanks,

Derek Lee

Ill save you some trouble, your asking way to much for that cab, and for that matter to much for the fire box as well. Try about 1500 max for the cab, and oh say maybe 1000 max for the box. For the price your asking, a patient person could find an enitire 404 with this cab and box for just a little more

FOR SALE: 1985 U1300L 200HP $50,000
FOR SALE: 1969 404.1 crawler mog $25,000

Thanks for the input. I did mention to make a fair offer. Those prices were based on what I was told by a number of 'MOG vendors based on what they see in the marketplace. But like I said, any "fair" offer would be appreciated. I have never seen a VLF truck advertised anywhere (even a rust special) for less than $7000. Out of 60,000 404's built, only 5000 were hard cabs.
