WTB: That damn E320 Wiring Harness...

Well, it's time.

Anyone got a Denso / new wiring harness for sale for my wonderful 1995 E320 coupe?

The chasis # is 052.

I would rather not spend the $1000, but will gladly if no-one has one for sale for less. Its definitely worth it.

I know this question has been asked by EVERY owner of the culprit cars - BUT, what the f*#ck were they thinking...? Bio f@*cking degradeable? Are you f^#cking kidding me???

Anyway, cash waiting. Thanks

Have you actually talked to the dealer about the price for the upper harness? Usually it is the one that sizzles out? I just replace the one on my 93 500E at RETAIL was 640 but MBCA discount was 10% less. Also, on a 95, if the miles are not extreme, you might be able to get some good will from the dealer/MBUSA. They have been doing so recently to try and address some of the problems like this.

Also, make your complaint to the NHTSA. There is a form and there are HUNDREDS of W124 cars already listed. Call the MBUSA center also and talk to their customer service people. Try Nicole @ 1-800-FOR-MERCedes (367-6372). Her direct extension is 4619.

Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.
