For Sale: Lorinser RS 90 16" rims
I have a matching set of RS 90 Rims for sale. This is the trusted Lorinser monoblock, one piece setup. Made in Germany, I believe these to be from 1992.
Specs are as follows: LK 112, RS90 75 16 5 35
75 width (7,5)
5 I think is for silver/polished aluminium (not chrome)
35 is the ET (Einpresstiefe) = 35mm offset. These came off a late model w124 chassis 300CE, and they will fit any w124 and w201 chassis straight up. For a w126 chassis, you will have to use spacers. [I have German TÜV-approved H&R spacers with long bolts available separately.]
The rims are in good condition, I'd rate them 7/10. Some curb rash and some imperfections in the clearcoat but mostly, they just need a good cleaning. Two have good Falken 205/55 tires with OK tread on them (see photo), two other tires are junk. All four Lorinser center pieces are there. The rims are straight with no dings, to the best of my knowledge and visual inspection. They are not perfect but can go on your car as-is or they would be good candidates for a refurbishing or for being chromed, if that is your preference.
I am flexible on the price. I just bought a similar set for my w126 chassis for over 400 dollars (with no tires) on eBay, so please make me a reasonable offer without embarrassing me or yourself. Again, I have a different set coming and want these out of my garage, so I am motivated to sell. That being said, they are nice enough that I was going to put them on my own car and won't give them away...if I still have them next week, they are going on eBay. Drop me a pm, and let's talk. Since my pm inbox usually runs full pretty quick, feel free to email me or to post a reply and I will get in touch with you.
The rims are located in San Diego, but I could bring them up to the OC or LA on the weekend for serious buyers...I have met some great people on this site but also plenty of flakes, so that would probably require a decent sale price with a deposit. Shipping is of course an option, but I have no idea how much that would be. In that case, it might be cheaper to have the tires stripped and just send the rims. Anyway, let's work something out.
Thanks for looking!
