WANTED: W123 right side view mirror internal part

It looks like my mirror got smacked pretty hard at one time in its life and the internal hinge is broken.

I hate to replace the entire, original [euro] unit just to fix this one little part.

Anyone have any stuff like this? I can provide a picture of what I need. HELP!

Sure ! this is for your '85 , right ? they made two different W-123 mirrors , break is (IIRC) '81 model year .

This is for the manually operated mirror ? .

Coupe or sedan ?

Where are you located ? .

I'm in Portland. It's an electric passenger side mirror on a wagon.

the hinge might very well be the same. its the hinge that is spring loaded for the entire mirror to allow it to bend back and forth and not injure pedestrians.

let me take pix for ya

O.K. then , shoot me a picture as I have both versions of the W-123 passenger side mirror and some W-116 ones too .

I might have a spare electric W-126 mirror too as we got some spares for my brother's W-126 when it stripped the gears .

here are pix of the part, including what appears to be some form of part number. if you can help, that'd be great. You can clearly see the broken bit in the first shot. The assembly appears to be held together with a pressed-in brass pin.
