Engine is an inline-six cylinder carburetor gasoline engine from a 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250S (Engine Nbr. 108.920). Before I took the car apart, I drove it from Fort Lauderdale, FL, to Atlanta, GA for 800 miles without a problem.
Since I bought the car used, I do not have a reliable and complete history of the engine other than two facts: (1) total mileage before I took it apart on the odometer was 180K and (2) the engine has been rebuilt once during its lifetime.
Buyers could rebuild the engine or use it as a core when buying a replacement. Currently, 108.920 engines run about $5,400+ in addition to a core deposit of $900.
I am selling this complete engine at a reasonable $1,000 (includes oil pump, power steering reservior, and mechanical fuel pump - all still attached) for a good value to you
If you are interested in the intake and exhaus manifolds, I have those too, and would sell them for an additional $30. Also, I have available the thermostat housing with thermostat which I am offering for an additional $30.
Pick up only from Canton, GA 30114. No shipping (too expensive for buyer & me)
