SOCAL- Selling my prized 1970 250C
Hello fellow MBZ enthusiasts, I regret the time is near to sell my baby. I am moving to Ireland and its a huge hassle to ship my car. A little background on the car itself...
This car was given to me by my father when i graduated high school (a grad present)
and that was 6 years ago. Since then i have been taking my time and fixing up the interior slowly (the seats were horrible). My dad painted the car 15 years ago but it still has a great shine to it. No fading or anything. The car has ALWAYS been stored in the garage. The car is a very low production number for this series. #000175!!!
The engine has been completely rebuilt and im willing to do a CLT (cylinder leakdown test) on the spot to prove the engines durability. The trans was replaced a year ago and i have the reciept. It has new Bilstein shocks and new isolators. The interior is very good save the back seats which i have but are not put in yet. The car has a blaupunkt cd player (i have the original becker europa). The A/C would work if i had an idler pulley and a new high side line from the compressor. The heater works well. There are no rust issues (its a california car). The car has newer tires and brakes. This car drives like a dream down the freeway. There is an offset woodruf key to advance cam timing by 3 degrees (help out the power a bit. I always use lead substitute with this car and premium gas only (helps the valve giudes). I am asking $1,400 for this car. Come drive it home, across the country, whatever. It will do it. I feel that is MORE than reasonable. Here are some pics. Please email me at email@example.com
or PM me if you are serious or have any questions. Oh BTW the car has 130k miles on it original. Ill even incluse a spare block and head (2.8 litre just like mine).
The Ring Is Mine!!!!
