FS 99 E55 w/Free Warranty (MD)
The good stuff:
1999 E55 with 53,000 miles.
Cerifiied By Mercedes Benz Dealer. The free Star Mark warranty is fully transferable at no cost to the buyer. The car is covered until 12/31/2007 or 100,000.
50,000 miles B service was done not too long ago.
Replaced air filters and windshield wiper, changed the oil and flushed the radiator coolant.
Detailed by the dealer during service.
The tires are Michelin SP2000 new since 08/2005, wheels were at time of fitment.
Low production Silver model with rear sunshade.
Leather seats are in extremely good condition for the age and do not have any cracks, burns or wholes. The car still smells like new!
This baby was hand build by 2 mechanics in a Mercedes Plant in Germany. It took them about 2 weeks. The normal build time for other E class is 1 week. (Refer to AMG test drive on the speed channel)
349 HP with 350 pounds of Torque on 5.5 Liter Dual Overhead Cam Block.
The not so good stuff:
Some curb rash on most of the rims. It could be re-polished and repainted for dirt cheap. Previous owner must have been a none savvy driver.
Minor rock ships on the hood, could be wet sanded and apply clear coat.
Original floor mats look a little faded in the front.
Besides the slight minor cosmetic problems. the car is near mint condition.
A little bit about me...I am professional Banker who has passion for cars and likes exotic vehicles. I don't race my cars as they become part of my family.
Remember you are buying a low production hand made super car with low miles and free extended warranty.
Normally unless the dealer certifies a car for you (costs near $10k) the car's warranty is void when sold to a dealer. Not mine, the warranty will transfer.
Go-ahead run a CARFAX, the title is clean and you will get a free buy back warranty.
