Okay good peoples...I have some good, some bad news, and some really good news:

Good news:
Here is the good news the DVD's are in: notice that I said the DVDs and not the DVD. The manual turned out to be 2 DVDs and not one! The thing is huge!

Bad news is I need more blank DVDs! I need 2 extra bucks from everyone! Sorry!

The very good news though is I installed the manual on my computer and you can consider me a non certified dealer from now on, because the manual I have is the Mercedes shop manual!

I'll start shipping the finished copies tomorrow, i have 10 sets copied already, i trust you guys and I know you'll send me extra fee.
Dome.

did you mean Done?[:D][8D]J/k dude, it's cool.[:)]

RE: Group buy. W140 manual

Hi Bayhas Bin Mercedes,

Is there a difference between the shop and service manual? Looking through ebay again, the Classic Manuals are just one DVD. Is this the real DVD from Factory? Or from another source? Just curious since you didn't answer Rdanz reply.

RE: Group buy. W140 manual

The manual turned out to be the WIS manual, that’s what the dealer used to make quotes, order parts, and fix cars.

There is information in this manual on how to fix 190Es all the way to Mclarens SLRs!!!!

User manual wise, it's that book you get when you buy the car.

Here you can download user manual from my server for free for any W140 model/year

http://www.bayhas.com/w140manu

now, difference between shop manual and service manual, I am not sure, but here, you never ask an Arabian and get no answer, so here, I ll make some stuff up. I think user manual is something like Haynes manual, something written toward end user in plain language to fix cars. While shop manual is a little bit more professional because it’s written for mechanics.

Keeping in mind, with some basic knowledge and common sense, you would be able to find your way through in a shop manual. So it’s not that hard. If I can do it, you can do it.

Bathas if this is the manual you have at the above site it will not work on my computer as I have windows 98.

"Minimum requirements ? Windows NT, 2000 or XP Pro Comprehensive Installation info. and instructions will be included with this program. It is recommended that you have a minimum of 5gb hard disk space to run the programme from your hard disk."

I thought the disk you were selling was the one MB put out Part # P-2700-140-04.

Kindly refund my money.
Sorry bro
