For Sale: 1985 300SD tons of new parts! runs well - biodiesel?

1985 300SD

For Sale 1985 Mercedes 300sd

Silver - Gray on Blue Leather

301k. This is a good running car that has had a lot of work performed recently.

Here is what was done:

Transmission Rebuilt @290k

The following was performed 9/05

New Battery
New Glow Plug Relay
5 New Glow Plugs
Front Brakes – Rotors, Pads and Sensors
New Radiator and hoses
New Exhaust motor to rear muffler
New Driver’s window motor
New Power Antenna
New Power Lock Pump (motor)
New Diesel Fuel By-pass hoses
Drivers side hub bearing replaced
Oil Change
Air Filter

This is a good running car. I have been driving it daily for the past 3 months and it has not let me down at all. It still has good power and the turbo kicks. This car has more power than my 84 300sd with half the miles!

The interior is really very nice. No rips or tears in the leather at all. I shampooed the rugs and they look great! All 4 windows and sunroof work fine! Original Radio Becker Grand Prix works! Both Power seats function in all directions. All gauges work expect clock. All exterior lights function. This is one of the nicest interiors I have seen on a 300k car! Vehicle has been repainted and paint is fair. Has typical midwest rust on doors where the cladding begins...can be repaired.

This would be an ideal vehicle to convert to a biodiesel WVO. I was going to do that, but I found an SDL that I am converting instead. I am just looking to get out what I have in the car.
$2600. I will consider offers and trades.

I have pics so please pm me if you'd like to see them. Vehicle is located in Chicago, IL

Thanks,

David

Rotary rocket! I appreciate the offer for trade, but am looking for something bigger than an RX-7. Thanks...always loved em though.

UPDATE: I've made additional repairs to the above 85 300SD for sale:

New Diesel Fuel Line
New Oil Cooler Lines
New Trans Cooler Lines.

Price Remains the same at $2,400

Thanks for looking!

How about an 89 C20 Van?? Runs good, drives good... Brakes done just over a week ago. No pulling in eather direction, even oppon braking.. Tires are about 1 1/2 yrs old, and new battery as of 1 year ago. Tune up done 6 months ago on a chev small block 350, 400 trans w/OD. Good rear, Fluid changed 6 months ago. 4 captans chairs, and a powered fold down bed/seat in back... Color TV ( just needs a power cord ) Movie thieater style track lighting... The paint I found is origanal, and theirfor is peeling off... Otherwise a sound van... 127K miles, daly driver... Much more room that an RX7 anyday[:D]...

RE: For Sale: 1985 300SD tons of new parts! Price Lowered

I have lowered the price on my 85 300SD.

Runs great. I have over 4K in repair receipts from the last 15,000 miles.

Best offer over $2,100 takes it....or I may pull the tranny for another project.

Please post any questions.. Thanks for looking.
