RE: FS - 1987 Mercedes 190e 16v Cosworth - $2500

21 hours left...if it goes for 2500 then so be it. Someone is getting a good condition 16v for practically free. 6k worth of car for 2500...It runs and drives great and has a clean interior and a pretty good exterior(minus the blemish on the rear drivers side). Someone should pick it up since it really can't stay in front of my parents house...

The ebay buyer flaked out...leaving me out the ebay fees. It's now for sale locally. Anyways, it sold for 3550 on ebay. I would like 3200 firm for the car. Email me if you'd like to see it.

Are you still selling it by any chance? If so let me know I'm in the market since my 16v was just totaled.

RE: FS - 1987 Mercedes 190e 16v Cosworth - $2500

Wow, you post the thread saying $2500 then move up to $3200 "firm." There is quite alot of work to be done to this car. The air blower may very well need replacement, costing around $700 - what I just paid to have mine done. The driver side door not working with the key has to do with the vacuum controlling locking mechanism in that door, costing about $200 - this is again what I paid to have it replaced on mine. Also, fixing the speedometer cost me $250 on mine. So total for the estimates I have stated, the car you are selling , originally for $2500, needs about $1150 of work. The KBB of this car is $2755 (FAIR), then you bumped it up to $3200. I personally think you should keep it at about $2500 like you said at first, 1) It needs some work as previously stated. 2) 150,000 miles and KBB value.
