FS 1986 190D 2.5 DIESEL Lexington, KY

Bought this as a project car. I had trouble finding a 190D in the midwest, so when I found this one and talked the price down a little from $1500, I was happy to take on a neglected project. However, now I'm relocating so I have other priorities. The seats are in really good shape for its age. It needs minor cosmetic work and new paint. Runs, but the auto tranny shifts irregular. Again, I bought this as a project car, so I have the title, but never registered it. Other known problems are busted driver's fog lens, the stereo and one rear passenger window do not have power. I'm asking $900. email: mechanicalchris@yahoo.com

RE: FS 1986 190D 2.5 DIESEL Lexington, KY

How bad is the transmission. Does it drive, will it get me back and forth to work?

Wish I saw this before I bought an 86 190e 2.3 for $1700.00

Depending on how well your car runs/drives, I might be interested.

The car hasn't been driven out of the neighborhood, so I couldn't suggest driving it long distances. I've been told the modulation valve causes jumpy shifting. I think you should check the car out in person.
