MERCEDES – BENZ 560 SEL. 1988.
I selling this car because it was recently involved in slow speed front end accident. I recently bought this car from a gentlemen who bought it new in 1988. So this one owner car and he took good care of it. I got this car 2 weeks back it passed VA emission and safety. Outside and in side excellent condition . It is baize color outside and tan leather that is perfect condition, no rip or tear. Outside paint is excellent. Now it is involve in this accident. I can not afford to fix it at this time so I am selling as it is, use it for part or fix it. It has 207,000 miles but was running like new.
ACCIDENT DAMAGE.-
I showed it to the body shop mechanic he told me that car needs following things to make it road worthy.
Both side head lamps
Hood and grill
Radiator
Steering pump damage
front end needs to be pulled out.
Front bumper and both fenders are alright,
ENGINE STARTS FINE AFTER THE ACCIDENT BUT STEERING WHEEL IS VERY HARD TO TURN. BECAUSE OF STEERING PUMP DAMAGE. NEEDS TO BE TOWED.
CAR IS LOCATED IN MANASSAS VIRGINIA AT MECHANIC SHOP. CALL ME IF YOU WANT TO LOOK AT IT.
Engine and transmission are excellent. It was running like champ. Engine was quiet and powerful. NO leak of any kind. ABS break system perfect. Break and exhaust are also perfect.
Air bag is intact and good.
Tires are almost new with nice rims
Climate control , heating and A/C works fine
It was running like champ
Car is also listed on ebay and locally on craigslist.
I have only 3 days to complete this deal and by asking price is 900 dollars.
