I'm actually in the middle of converting a 07/08 face lift on my 2003 e320. Installing the bumper right now(ran into a couple of issues ). But I will also be changing my headlights to the 07/08 headlights (just bought two headlights w/broken tabs for a good price, and was going to repair them with epoxy). From what I understand it should plug right in. I'll let you know if i run into probs.

thanks for that, may i ask how much you paid and where from.
well i got them for 150 each from ebay...they are xenon lights as well..(a great buy considering they cost about 500+ a piece from the dealer). only prob is the broken tabs will probably will cost an extra $50 to fix . I actually just bought another right side headlight were the tabs weren't broke from my friend for about 200 today so I will be selling the right side headlight with the broken tabs if you want them. I do wonder though, if the plastic shielding(with the lines near top) can just be taken off the newer looking headlights and put on the older ones.

just preheat your oven to about 250-300 degrees when the wife isnt at home of course;and put your headlights in for about 2-3 minutes this will get the glue soft enough to pry them apart,i have one this so i know it works i blacked out my headlights.
Will it not melt the plastic covering though? I mean the headlight isn't glass, its plastic.
A willy_manilly maybe you should put this thread in the w211 section maybe its some additional guys that may no more about it.
