I'd like to find a grill for my 380SL. The one I have is just fine. I'd like to find one that is less than pristine though to do a little custom work on it. the center emblem needs to be good but the bars that run across can be scratched or cracked, no problem. As for the surround, I'd prefer good but can get by with less than perfect. I want to black out the grill so that the center tribar sort of floats in the air alone. There is nothing wrong with the one on my car, I just don't want to ruin a good part.
Also, does anybody know of a salvage yard that has a lot of M-B cars located in the S.W. Indiana/S.E. Illinois/Western Kentucky area? Preferably one where they let you pull your own parts. I've gotten parts pulled before that the stripper wasn't too careful.
