First, this spring compressor is NOT the one needed for most older Mercedes with separate struts & coil springs. The more-common Mercedes coil spring compressor is the KL-0025, but I am selling my
KL-0015... they are totally different tools (see photos below). The KL-0015 is designed for springs that have the strut shaft going through the center of the spring.
Many newer Mercedes use MacPherson struts (like the W203, W209, W219, W211, R171, and R230) and and almost all VW / Audi / BMW use them as well. I used this tool once on my VW, and it has sat in my toolbox ever since. I figure it should go to a better home now, since I probably won't ever use it again. It is in mint condition.
Please remember this is a genuine Klann tool, made in Germany. This is not the cheap offshore "made in Taiwan" no-name junk compressor you would buy on eBay. It is rated for use with air impact guns (the clones are often NOT rated for use with impact tools). Current list price on the KL-0015 is $1,476.
