| FS 2001 Renntech CL63, MUST GOOOOO
Up for sale is our Mercedes Benz Renntech CL63...
the good:
The car in immaculate,it only has 25 thousand miles, it is 1 of 26 ever made (from what documentation I could find) The car is a charchol black with every imaginable renntech upgrade from the exhaust,computer, the 10 thousand dollar breaking system, the 10G wheels and tires, suspension upgrade exhaust, Renntech Limited Slip, Renntech Trans, cooler, etc etc, it has everything that could be ordered from the renntech package and fullyloaded from the factory (including NAV), refer to renntechs site for the sickening prices.
The motor is a stroked Mercedes Benz V12 that now displaces 6.3 liters with all Renntech internals and had maul pistons, rods, crank, heads, cams etc are all renntech...
So please take into consideration that the regular CL600 (V12) in 2001 was about 120 thousand dollars to purchase and the renntech upgrades cost an additional 70 to 80 thousand dollars so we are looking at over 200K of car...
now, the bad:
We Broke the motor
From what I can tell we have cracked some of the pistons, some worse than other, everything else looks to be ok....
We are not mechanically inclined to fix this, but the shop gave us the lowdown on whats uo with the car so we are offering thi up for sale to someone that knows how to get this thing back together.....it was a beast on the stret and an animal on the highway...
this is being offered at $41,000.00 or best offer with everything, that is less than the price of a regular plain jane CL600 with that milage.... it makes sense for someone that is a mechanic to take this and fix it and I would assume it would be worth double that once running again....

We are asking the cost of just some of the modifications that are on the car....someone will get a STEAL......fix the motor or part the motor out for more than the cost of a stock V12 and drop that stock V12 in there and have a pimp ride, NO reasonable offer refused, the car can be seen, it is in the Chicagoland area....it has to go ASAP!
