WTB: R129 Windschott/Wind Deflector/Wind Screen

Guys don't care what you call it where you are from, I am looking for one for my 1990 500SL. Would prefer it if the storage case was included but since it will pretty much live on the car it is not essential.

Heads up though, shipping will be to Canada.

Well I see a few people have read my message, but nobody replying saying "take mine it is free"

I priced one out from the dealership, not as bad as I had been lead to believe $524 with free shipping to me, I also was in contact with a company in Germany that manufacture an after market windstop for the R129, they have a North American distributor in California named Pacificie, their cost is $350 including shipping to Canada, but they can't ship right away. Not a problem car isn't on the road, we don't have much snow here at this time, but I was talking to a guy in the next town 15 feet of snow in his front yard (they can get 10+ feet overnight though).

Anyone familiar with Pacificie? That is the way I am leaning, unless I hear something unfavorable. If I go with Pacificie I will let you know what I think of it once it has arrived.

You may want to check a site called lovethedrive.com, they have some aftermarket ones that look not bad, but their website has the one for the R129 listed as "coming soon". I bought an original Mercedes wind deflector just before the snow fell - it's great. You can't go wrong if you go with OEM Merc stuff.

I still haven't picked one up, lovethedrive.com was the way I was going but it is still listed as 'coming soon' and the R129 is no longer on their homepage but I found it going through their site map. Waiting to hear back from them, they have been pretty quick to reply to my queries.

So, if you found one in your garage during spring cleaning drop my a line I am still looking. Not for much longer though I hope!!!

I have two, so I am prepared to part with one. It does not have a case, and is a good condition (small pin hole). I can send photos. $230 plus shipping from AZ.
