AMG 3-piece 17" Staggered Chrome Wheels/Tires - W126 & R129 - SOLD

Anyone hit the lottery lately?

I have a set of staggered, "old-school" AMG 3-piece wheels made by OZ Racing for sale, including tires mounted and balanced.

Wheels are 17x8.5 in front, ET18, and 17x10, ET17 in back.

Tires are Dunlop SP8000 Sport, 235/45/17 in front, brand new with 100% tread, 265/40/17 in back, about 55% tread remaining but in great shape.

These were disassembled, magnafluxed for cracks (none), dipped, stripped, trued, de-curb rashed, triple-chrome plated, reassembled using all new bolts in the outer ring, hand-torqued, and then tires were mounted and balanced.

These are so new looking, so perfect, and so shiny that you have to wear sunglasses when you look at them. They are spectacular. Any imperfections seen in the photos are due to lighting, dust, etc. They really are as-new.

I paid $1000 plus $100 shipping for the wheels, the two rear tires I already had in my garage, I bought two new fronts for $300, then refinishing/chroming/etc was $1500. So I'm into them for $2900.

Perfection ain't cheap folks, especially not with these wheels. But they are truly as good as new. First $2500 plus S&H (or free pickup if you are local) gets them. They include chromed MB-star center caps and new metal valve stems, but no lug nuts.

Thanks..just wish it was cheaper! But a NOS set in Japan is $4500, non-chrome, so this is not TOO bad.

Oh, the wheels? Yes, magnafluxed to check for cracks, and there were none.

These wheels sat in storage for a long time, got very little actual use, so no pothole-crunching lifestyle.

Shipping would be one thing, but Customs is entirely another $$PIA barrier - figuring your Aussie border Duty Gestapo operate along the same lines as NZ.
Bloody beautiful wheels!.....sigh.
