I'm not sure I can post this here, but what the hell I'll give it a try.
1974 416 DOKA Strong reliable work-horse in need of TLC. Minor restoration cut short due to too many mogs and a baby on the way. Easy to take back to original or continue my restoration. NEEDS: rear transmision seal & rear hub out-put seal, rear brake pad on same side is oil soaked. Is drivable as long as you check these fluids once a day. HAS: rare rear sliding window; 2 speed PTO w/ front shaft; tipper-bed w/o ram; Long full sized bed; Heavy rubber sound proofing dog-house cover from Atkinson Vos; Corbeau seats w/ 4 point harnesses; 2 optima batts; 2 MB 3 ring binder workshop manuals & MB 416 owners manual.
I have all the original parts you may notice missing in the photos including fenders and steps, skid plate, etc. Front axle output and hub input/output seals replaced 3 years ago. 158,710km on very strong and reliable OM352. Rust only in the normal areas, plus a spot located below the windshield where a spot lamp used to be mounted (pictured). Compared to a lot of 416's I've seen sold recently this one is pretty damn straight and fairly cancer free.
Winch and custom skid plate shown are not included. Grey drum brake wheels shown are also not included. Original 5 wheels and 12.5 tires will be mounted back on the truck. The 14.5 continental tires shown in the pictures are included, there are 5 (4 in good shape & 1 less tread good for spare), all will be un-mounted.
James is out of town this week, but he should be back this weekend. I know he keeps tabs on this forum so don't write him off. He still has the 416 for sale.
Most those intrested will be us in the Unimog Forum but hey.... ya never know. Anyway now this thread shows up in Unimog and here so ya get best of both worlds.
