Same as with the engine oil level, the MB service advisor told me that while on most MB models you can program each key to a memory seat position through the instrument cluster, you can not do this on an 07 SL550.
not sure about 07, but on mine i have one key for me and one key for my dad and the seat will automatically move to the set position when I start the car keyless.... and same with my dad, his seating position is stored into his key???
As far as I know all cars have this feature, you just put 1 key in and set everything to how you want it and press the memory button, then a number. put the other key and driver in and set it all up for them and do the same again, that's it you now have a key for both drivers
In the preferences, depending upon your model year (my 2005 has it), there is a selection for: Key-dependent: On/Off
Being on allows the keys to have individual options.
