How to fill hydraulic pump

I would appreciate any help with directions on how I fill the hydraulic roof pump. I have just about completed the painstaking replacement of the top attachment latch cylinder after a huge leak, and I have the correct fluid, but its a mystery on how to correctly fill the pump back up. Thanks!!

You remove one of the two screws shown in the picture -- I don't remember which one, but it may be obvious -- and then you inject fluid using a syringe.

Many used parts available from a '92 SL. Email or PM for more information

I am trying to check and fill my roof top hydraulic fluid.

I found this old threat and the two attached docs. I am still not quite clear on which screw (top or bottom) I can open to add the fluid?

I opened the top screw and fluid came out. I then removed the bottom screw but could not force any fluid in (I am using a store bought syringe - non MB part). Did anyone preform this process and could give some tips? Would appreciate the help.

Thanks in advance

Look at link 2 and the little X in the photo marks the spot where the level should be with the roof UP. Down is not a of any interest, as long as it meets the level when up.
