I have a 2005 SL500 w 12K miles on it. Had the dealer do a Service A on it a few months ago and have put maybe 300 miles on it since. The Service B warning is on and I don't believe it is ready for a service b. Is there a way to reset the warning or does the dealer have to do it? Thx in advance!
get in the car, close all doors, turn the key to position 1 and press the trip reset button 3 times quickly and use the steering wheel buttons to navigate the menus. You're looking for service information and there is an option to confirm service.
The procedure for a reset is here: Link to late model service resets - ShopForum. I believe you are making a mistake by not performing the "B" service as it covers items not covered by "A".
