The bose sound system in the SL500 sucks. The bose sound system in my Yukon Denali is awsome.

Know what you mean. Took the SL back to the dealer to check it was working properly!
Very poor sound system with not much room for additional equipment.

Nope, not true - there is no German word "Bose" - what we have is "Böse" or "Boese" and that means angry or mad about sth.

Broke, btw. is "Pleite"

Also the SLK has 13 speakers which would explain the full & clear sound.

Adding more speakers may be true to get better sound quality, but I got great quality when I replaced my factory speakers with Kenwood speakers in my Monte Carlo. I just do not think the speakers in the SL500 are highend speakers.
